Assistant Restaurant Manager Job Description for our location in the Wellington Green Commons.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager supports the management team to ensure the execution of standards and the outcome of company goals within a TooJay's restaurant. This position requires the ability to motivate and train team members to meet the Guest's expectations.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or related field
- Current Manager Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain it by end of training
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and proof of insurance and a driving history acceptable to the company
Physical Requirements
Flexible and long hours required at times. Manages the activities of the restaurant team; This includes candidate interviews, hiring, ongoing training and communication of performance standards to ensure complete job knowledge and skill development of team membersEngages with Guests to create a personable and seamless experience. Uses all service related feedback to continually improve service levels, drive overall Guest satisfaction, increase return visits and reduce Guest complaintsMeets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, controlling food cost, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actionsPartners with HR to ensure any termination of a team member is conducted with respect and dignity after proper documentation which has given that team member the opportunity to improve their behaviorTeaches, coaches and mentors others to maintain high standards. Establishes credibility through competence, continuity and integrityHas full knowledge of company regulations, policies, procedures, standards and goals. Performs duties at any given time to ensure proper execution.
