Litigation Paralegal

VACO  Atlanta has partnered with an impressive law firm in Midtown Atlanta in their search for a skilled Litigation Paralegal. The paralegal is responsible for case management from start to finish. The successful candidate will be able to aid during all phases of the litigation process.  Since in-office work is required, only candidates who live in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in multi-state court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in state and federal courts.

Perform administrative duties, including calendar hearings, court, and discovery deadlines.

Draft court documents and medical chronologies.

Conduct legal research.

Requirements

2 or 4-year degree, paralegal certification, or relevant experience.

A minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience is REQUIRED.

Must possess a solid understanding of the litigation life cycle.

Must have exceptional attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Need to be comfortable using technology with the ability to pick up new software quickly.
