This position is located onsite at our Portland, CT Marina

As a Marina Yard Associate, you will perform daily tasks assigned by the Marian Facilities Manager which may include travel lift operations, hauling and launching operations for both boats and docks, liftwell and ramp operations, boat movement and blocking operations on land, boat movement operations in the water, and other general marina yard tasks. You may also be assigned equipment operator tasks on forklifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and cranes.

Essential job functions include :

• performing work related to the maintenance and operation of the boat launch ramp, lift well, docks, and managed lands and facilities, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, snow removal, pre- and post-storm preparation and recovery operations, routine preventative equipment maintenance, litter pickup, and painting.
• Perform basic equipment and boat mechanical repairs.
• Perform dock and grounds maintenance and other related duties.
• The employee may be requested to work in adverse weather conditions and lift to 50 lbs.
• Operates hydraulic trailers and travel lift to haul, launch, and block power and sail boats up to 60’ and 50 tons.
• Conducting preventive maintenance inspections and basic servicing on equipment.
• Complete and maintain service records and repair documents.

Compensation will be based on experience with a range between $20.90 - $28.84 per hour.
