This is a full time, first shift position from 645A-315P with occasional call for PTO coverage. Ideal candidates will have Scrub, Circulation, or Procedural experience in sterile fields.Call : 1 to 2 shifts per 6 weeks schedule on average.Department Information : Performing an average of 7,000 cases each year, the Operating Room at SMJH has 8 OR suites and offers a variety of service lines including; Complex GYN, Neurosurgery, Vascular / Thoracic and Orthopedic surgery. It is also the 2nd highest-performing OR in the Sentara system for Orthopedic total joint procedures.

Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.Duties and Responsibilities :

Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required)

Registered nursing License (Required)

18 Months of acute care RN experience(required)
