Role Overview : The Contracts Compliance Manager works with the legal, financial, and business units to ensure contractual obligations are met. You will monitor contracts to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and advise individuals on appropriate measures to correct contract performance. You will also maintain complete and accurate documentation regarding compliance, investigations, and coordination with line of business.

This position requires strong organizational, analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills. We are seeking a proactive individual who can identify problem areas and recommend organizational and procedural improvements.

Salary : The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900 but may be commensurate with education and experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

A Day in the Life :

Responsibilities include :

  • Review current Contracts for undefined SLAs and metrics.
  • Working with lines of business to define metrics for new or existing agreements.
  • Record and track compliance investigations and conclusions.
  • Communicate to vendors, recipients, and contractors any deficiencies to their contractual obligations, working with LOB and legal on further penalties or termination of agreement.
  • Provide transparency to the agency of status of investigations, the next steps, and final resolutions to a contract violation.
  • Contribute to drafting, negotiation, and execution of contracts and other agreements.

    This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours that may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and / or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.

    What You'll Need for Success :

    Required :

  • Must have strong organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must exhibit a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be accomplished in written and verbal presentation preparation and delivery.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Additional qualifications :

  • Two years of work experience in public contracts or lease management. Ideally, some experience in contract compliance.
  • Able to inspire and foster team commitment, spirit, pride, and trust. Facilitates cooperation and motivates team members to accomplish group goals.
  • Able to contribute to drafting contracts.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities / Direct Reports :

    This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
