Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Provide medical management of patients rendered unconscious or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and / or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed
