Senior Product Manager, Reliability Platform (Observability, SRE, AIM)

Role : Senior Product Manager responsible for driving the core reliability platforms and services that empower GEICO engineering teams. This role leads the development of developer-facing tools to improve system availability, incident management, observability, and cloud infrastructure, and is part of the Developer Engineering organization.

Location : Hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area or the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan (DMV) area.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale foundational developer platforms that serve as the backbone for GEICO's engineering organization.
• Define and execute a product strategy for Observability, BCDR & Incident Management within the internal developer engineering team.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, developer-facing products in an agile environment.
• Understand the entire developer workflow—from coding to deployment and operations—and identify opportunities to remove friction and improve efficiency.
• Own and prioritize the product roadmap for a suite of platform services (metrics platform, logging pipelines, alerting systems, on-call and incident response tooling, BCDR orchestration).
• Define and track operational health metrics (e.g., system availability, MTTR) and build tools to help teams manage services effectively.
• Champion a culture of reliability and ownership by delivering tools that enable developers to build and operate resilient systems.
• Identify and measure KPIs reflecting developer productivity and system health, using data to refine the roadmap.

Annual Salary

$146,575.00 - $229,600.00
