OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing products utilizing primary and secondary processing equipment or hand assembly. Following all procedures and work instructions, achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain machine and process efficiency to the approved standard

Inspect items and sort by means of visual inspections to ensure they are defect free

Prepare product by trimming, de-burring, de-gating, fixturing or assembly

Inspect and pack products in accordance with the standard

Maintain safe and organized work area by practicing good housekeeping

Provide accurate production reporting and scrap counts at the end of the shift

Correctly apply all internal and external labels to product packaging

Communicate with previous shift to receive important job information

Communicating with Team Leaders and Managers when there are issues

OTHER DUTIES

Performs all other duties as required

Monday through Friday

Saturday / Sunday off

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE AND / OR TRAINING

• High School diploma or GED preferred
