Your main responsibilities include ensuring that maintenance meets area and company quality standards, implementing customer and company requirements for quality, performance reliability, and passenger safety, supporting sales staff in estimating service orders, scheduling and executing orders, managing ongoing program of project audit, developing and implementing program of manpower selection, training and performance appraisal, implementing route management strategy, developing spirit of teamwork and dedication to quality improvement, evaluating and initiating requests for tooling, maintaining and managing pro-active relationships with local IUEC business agent, and advising area management of competitor activity.
What you bring includes a minimum high school education, minimum three to five years' experience in installation and service of elevators / escalators, minimum of one year as lead mechanic to demonstrate leadership ability, working knowledge of elevators and escalators to manage and direct field personnel, ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, proven leadership skills, ability to teach the company's methods of quality, productivity, and safety, ability to communicate with and influence business agents, inspectors, etc., in resolving disputes, and ability to demonstrate to customers that they are receiving fair value for their expenditures.
