Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,357 per week in Albany, NY

Conditions include respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex trauma, and surgical complications. Nurses must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations. Experience with advanced hemodynamics, including the usage of pressors per titration protocols, is essential. Knowledge of antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, and infection prevention protocols is required. Experience with HFNC, BiPap / Cpap, and oxypendent is necessary. Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to excel in this unit. The average patient load consists of 3 high-acuity patients. Weekend block schedules may be considered. A competency test will be required within 48 hours of submission.
