Yolo Federal Credit Union is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Help Desk Technician (40 hours per week) responsible for day-to-day support of all credit union information technology hardware and software. The IT Help Desk Technician works closely with IT staff to ensure the reliability and security of the credit union's data and systems; and assists the IT department in researching, planning, and implementing new technologies to improve member access and staff efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
WAN / LAN – Monitor and respond to network hardware and software problems as related to Help Desk support. Assist the IT staff in the coordination and maintenance with vendors to resolve issues and ensure reliable performance.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree (IT related) from four-year college or university; or four years of increasingly responsible work (related experience) in a similar position or capacity; or a combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE :
Principles and operations of networks, operating systems, and standard software applications and hardware. Knowledge and / or experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management.
SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to individuals and groups; research and resolve inquiries; demonstrate initiative and work independently with a minimum of supervision; work under time constraints to meet deadlines; and organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects.
