Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will assist and monitor progress of post-acute patients with injuries and / or chronic health conditions based on the individualized treatment plan using physical modalities and exercise to improve the quality of life of our patients. The Rehabilitation Therapy center has access to all the equipment needed to get community members back to their daily living baseline. Our smaller 50-bed facility ensures that the COTA can quickly connect with our patients, guarantee patient dignity, and make a positive lasting impression during their short-term stay.

• Qualifications
• Licensed to practice as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Idaho.
• One year (1) of appropriate experienced as a physical therapist in transitional care unit / skilled nursing facility or clinical experience preferred.
• Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR Certification.
• Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in all weather conditions.
