Job Summary :
The Lockton team is currently seeking a dynamicSenior Benefit Analystfor our Employee Benefits consulting group. This analyst is responsible for assisting in the marketing and servicing requirements of new and renewal Employee Benefits accounts. Responsibilities :
- Provide broad administrative support to the Account Manager and Account Executive in the following activities :
- Client enrollment meetings
- Mid-Year / Client Renewals
- Marketing efforts (develop RFPS; Coordinate vendor responses and follow-up; prepare final Marketing Report; ensure correct commission levels are included)
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with insurance carriers and administrators
- Prepare Service Schedules & Maintain Open Item Lists
- Report Preparation (experience reports, management reports, various marketing reports)
- Provide AE and / or UM with necessary components needed to complete renewal projections
- Attend staff meetings, department, and carrier meetings as well as educational workshops
- New Client Set-Up; Existing Client File Maintenance
- Create and distribute Client & Carrier correspondence
- Update Client and Carrier information in applicable database
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Complete special projects
Requirements : Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and / or 1-3 years' administrative experience in a professional office environment requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) with advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications and formula calculationsHigh aptitude for mathematical calculations including multiplication, division, and percentagesOrganizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time sensitive deadlinesDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigationDemonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve other AssociatesDemonstrated ability to understand and execute oral and written instructionDemonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with Associates at all levels of responsibilityAbility to communicate professionally with external clientsWillingness and ability to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the commercial insurance industry by successful completion of extended classes and workshops related to insurancePlease include cover letter with all applications.
