Locum Hospitalist - Morehead, KY - URGENT NEED! (Have multiple hospitalists here)

MUST BE ABLE TO DO THESE DATES : 8 / 26-9 / 2, 9 / 9-9 / 15 and then 9 / 16-9 / 22 - 7 on / off onward after

Hourly Rate + Travel Expenses

Acute Care Hospital

Credentialing : 2-3 weeks

Start : 8 / 25 is Orientation

Schedule : MUST BE ABLE TO DO THESE DATES : 8 / 26-9 / 2, 9 / 9-9 / 15 and then 9 / 16-9 / 22 and 7 on 7 off onward. DAYS ONLY.

LOA : Will sign a 3-6 month contract - 7 on / off schedule - This will be ongoing! Great client!

Patient Volume : The busiest that they've ever been has been 15 admissions, however, that's only happened once. On average seeing 5-10 admissions / night. Their ED group is amazing and they're not going to burn out the hospitalists with stupid things that they can handle on their own.

Have to do admits that come in from the ER. However, if it's a family medicine patient they do the initial admit and they're immediately turned over to family medicine services.

For codes, whoever s closest will respond to code until the ED doctor gets there.

Procedures : Surgical residents do the central lines - they don't have to do procedures.

EMR : Meditech

License : KY license is a MUST

Certifications : BC-IM or BC-FP, ACLS, BLS, DEA

Additional Information : MUST have a decent amount of HOSP / IM exp.

Make sure to send a CV that has COMPLETE work history, and they must have 3 references within the last year in order to pass credentialing.

Must have Flu vaccination. Covid can have religious or medical exemption, but not the flu.
