Senior Engineer, EHS Process Safety

Celanese is urgently seeking an experienced, full-time  Senior Engineer, EHS Process Safety  to join our team at the Washington Works facility in Washington, WV.   Nestled on the banks of the Ohio River in Parkersburg, West Virginia, our Washington Works site is a proud cornerstone of the Mid-Ohio Valley community.

Established in 1948, this 700-acre site is one of the largest Celanese manufacturing facilities globally, housing six different plants.

Every year, we manufacture millions of pounds of essential products used in various automotive, food industry, construction, and household items.   The Senior Engineer, EHS Process Safety duties include :

• leading and facilitating process hazard analyses (PHAs), developing and maintaining process safety management (PSM) programs, leading incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Other duties include mentoring junior staff, provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, manage risk assessments, and oversee changes to processes to ensure safety is embedded throughout the project and operational lifecycle.  Responsibilities :
