THE POSITION
The Server maintains all dining room environment and equipment clean and tidy, anticipates guests’ needs and addresses them accordingly in order to totally delight them
RESPONSIBILITIES
Checks assigned station before, during and after shift for proper set up and cleanlinessResponsible for the completion of designated side work checklists (both opening and closing)Busses tables and re-sets tables for the next guest. Picks-up clean linen for service and drops-off soiled linen for washing to determined areaAlways provide excellent service to all our guestsAssist Guest courteously and efficientlyMaintain the dining room and station clean at all the timeKeep chairs and banquettes clean and clear of debrisHandle customer requests in a timely mannerSet upside station with sugar bowls, water pitches, bread, and butter etc . as established in the side work sheetMake sure that all silver is polished and spotlessFollow the cleaning program for the restaurant established in the side work sheetUpkeep and clear tables between courses throughout the mealDelivery of food from kitchen to guest’s tables, including tray serviceAssist in setting up tables according to floor planAnticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anythingAttend all food and beverage training classes when requested toTo wish every guest a warm farewell and thank them for comingSetting and maintaining the dining room environment and material perfectly cleanMust make sure to offer bread and butter to every guestMust be aware at all times what type of water each guest in his / her station is drinkingMake coffee, tea, and hot beverages for guestsPlace all to go food in appropriate containersResponsible for keeping the dining room floors free of debris and spilled liquidsResponsible for resetting all tables to our standard throughout the shiftFollowing the posted opening and closing duties and side work sheetAttend daily pre meal / communication meetingAttend monthly department meetingGenerate a good atmosphereQUALIFICATIONS
