Schedule & FLSA : Full Time, Hourly
Shift : First Shift 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
Compensation : $18-20 / hour (note : may vary by level)
About The Role
As a Manufacturing Technician I , you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to high-voltage and low-voltage electrical assemblies, wiring, manufacturing and mechanical assemblies. Your knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical systems will help ensure quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- High-voltage and Low-voltage Electrical Assemblies : Perform assembly and wiring of electrical components following engineering diagrams and specifications. Ensure proper installation, routing, and termination of wiring and connections.
- Mechanical Assemblies : Assemble and integrate mechanical components (motors, gears, belts, pulleys, etc.) using hand and power tools as per specifications.
- Quality Control : Inspect and test assemblies to verify functionality, identify defects, and perform adjustments or repairs to uphold quality standards.
- Documentation and Reporting : Record assembly progress, measurements, adjustments, and test results; generate reports on issues or improvements identified.
- Equipment Maintenance : Assist in maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and tools; report malfunctions that affect production.
- Safety and Compliance : Follow safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work with engineers, supervisors, and technicians to optimize processes and address technical challenges.
- Continuous Improvement : Pursue education and training as required to support process improvement.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Experience
High School Diploma / EquivalentInterest in working with electrical and mechanical components and tools used in manufacturingStrong attention to detail and quality controlExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to build assemblies from color-coded wiring diagramsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred Experience
Technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplinesExperience in manufacturing, machine shop, or assembly environmentsExperience operating production machinesBasic knowledge of common tools (drills, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)Who You Are
