Pacific Trailer Repair Services is hiring immediately for Trailer Inspection Clerks to join our team in a recession-proof industry at a Container Storage Yard in Oakland, California. There is No Experience required in this entry level position as we'll teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful on the job.
Starting Rate is $18.50
We're hiring for the below shift : .
- 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday
- Overtime is sometimes available.

Summary / Objective :
The Gate Inspector is responsible for inspecting the intermodal units arriving and departing the railroad facility. This would include inspecting the unit numbers and each trailer and container for damage, as well as completing necessary paperwork as required by the customer.

Applicants for the Gate Inspector position must meet the general requirements for employment with the company, according to the Company hiring process which include :
Benefits : ( Medical benefits start after 60 days and the first of the month after that. Other benefits start after your 90-day probationary period )
APPLICANTS MUST currently live within a 45 minute commute of business location. OUT OF AREA candidates and / or those requiring a relocation will NOT be considered.
You will be an employee of Pacific Trailer Repair Services and not an employee of the Railroad.
