In this role you will deepen your finance knowledge and your exposure to technology and systems, tax, project management, metrics, analysis / negotiation and contract management. Responsibilities
- Support US indirect sourcing and procurement, with a focus on technology hardware and software and professional services
- Partnering with stakeholders, develop a solid working knowledge of the products and services being purchased and ensure key business terms are properly reflected in contracts
- Lead supplier negotiations, working to ensure the proper value proposition is obtained with each contract
- Serve as the key liaison between Legal, stakeholders and suppliers to ensure contracts are finalized timely and accurately
- Prepare and monitor metrics to drive process improvement and track performance relative to procurement KPI's
- Leverage technology to efficiently create, fulfill and close purchase orders, while ensuring that key accounting and tax details are captured for downstream reporting and payment activities
- Partnering with other members of the Finance team, maintain key supplier and contract data and work to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.\n
Additional Qualifications
BS required with an accounting, finance, or business concentrationAt least 3 years' experience in a Procurement role, preferably sourcing technologyMust be authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)Strong financial analysis skillsExcellent problem solving, customer service and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience reviewing supplier contracts and negotiating business termsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Oracle Procurement is a plus
