Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Waterford, United States. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
Perform hands-on therapy techniques and guide patients through therapeutic exercises
Educate patients and their families on proper movement techniques and home exercise programs
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
Monitor and assess patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their recovery journey
Stay updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Program
Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the United States
Recent grads encouraged to apply!
2-3 years of outpatient experience preferred
Strong knowledge of functional exercise techniques and manual therapy skills
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage a diverse caseload efficiently
Passion for physical therapy and genuine commitment to patient care
Outgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitude
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Empathetic approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is
$75,000 -$90,000.
Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
