Staff Accountant | Bank Reconciliations
Our global Fortune 500 client, with U.S. headquarters in Charlotte is seeking a Staff Accountant with bank / credit card reconciliations experience to join their team! You would be responsible for managing high-volume credit card reconciliations, performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial controls and company policies. The role supports month-end close through accurate journal entry preparation and actively contributes to process improvements. This position also partners with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, investigate recurring issues, and collaborate with Loss Prevention on risk mitigation. Success in this position requires bank reconciliations experience, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Location : Charlotte, NC
Compensation : $58,000 + monthly overtime = $60,500K+

Key Responsibilities :
Prepare accurate journal entries and support month-end close processes.Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations independently, from start to finish.Reconcile high-volume credit card accounts (500-700 locations / month) with accuracy and efficiency.Respond to internal requests (audits, reconciliations, write-offs) via Remedy.Partner with business owners to ensure compliance with financial controls and policies.Investigate recurring exceptions to identify trends and high-risk locationsRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.Qualifications :
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business or 6+ years of relevant experience.2+ years in banks reconciliations, ideally credit cardsStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)Skilled high volume processing preferred.Category Code : JN001, JN005
