Job descriptionProvide weekend coverage for vascular and interventional radiology cases Serve as primary on-call provider, collaborating with 1-2 APRNs as needed Respond to call-ins as required (typically 0-3 hours per weekend) Ensure timely and effective patient care during call shifts Communicate clearly with facility staff regarding patient needs and care plans Candidates must be board certified or truly board eligible in vascular / interventional radiology Kentucky state medical license required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Assume leadership roles or managerial responsibilities in interim positions or short-term assignments, honing your leadership skills and management expertise. About The Position
We are seeking a Vascular / Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Kentucky. Starting Nov 21, 2025, this 84-day assignment involves covering weekend call from Friday 5pm to Monday 8am, with the locum often serving as the sole provider alongside 1-2 APRNs. Calls are infrequent, with call-ins ranging from zero to three hours per weekend.
