Position Overview :

Our LPNs provide skilled nursing care to the organization's clients in accordance with the plan of care as prescribed by the physician and assigned by the supervising registered nurse. These nursing activities are limited to those in compliance with the state's / province's LP(V)N / RNA Practice Act, any applicable licensure / certification requirement, and agency policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications :

Effectively and efficiently plans visit content and schedule based on client capabilities, condition, preferences (when possible), physician orders and available resources.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal. State and local laws and regulations, the Organizational Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, as well as agency policies and procedures and adheres in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Performs specific treatments and administers medications to implement the medical and nursing care plans.

Applies appropriate preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing procedures, and techniques to clients.

Utilizes interview, observation, and evaluation in assessing clients and applies nursing judgment, consistent with practice standards, in making recommendations to the primary nurse and client.
