We are looking for a Vehicle Operator to be based at the Dayton, NJ reporting to the Operations Manager.

Job Summary

The Vehicle Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a motorized lift vehicle to pull products based on customer orders. They will need experience in operating lifting devices such as forklifts, boom, scoop, lift bean, swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, hitch, elevating platform, or trailer.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus
• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, materials.
• Hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
• Weigh material or product and records weight on tags, labels or production schedules
• Load / Unload material on and off pallet, skid or lifting device
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience driving experience; High School diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
