• Produce news and sports local talk shows on KWTO and KBFL
• Produce sporting events aired by Zimmer stations
• Stay up on current events involving news and sports formats and be available to give on air analysis
• Assist in booking guests for shows
• Do social media posts for each show, including setting up graphics, creating posts for Facebook, X, and other station platforms, and podcasting key segments of the show
• Write and produce news stories for on-air, online and social media, and anchor newscasts as assigned by the news director
• Anchor severe weather coverage and participate in a rotating on call schedule for storm coverage
• Assist music stations in voice tracking or filling in for on-air shifts as needed
• Be an active participant in team staff meetings, consultant coaching meetings, and other meetings as required by the company
• Highly motivated and creative individual
• Ability to thrive in deadline-driven situations, with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Professional demeanor, and excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Ability to work with other departments to drive success of the station / company
