About The Position

Shift : Nights (11 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred

License : Active RN license in good standing

Certifications : CPR and First Aid (American Heart Association)

Must-Have : Ability to work holidays and every other weekend

Description :

Registered Nurses provide direct patient care and supervision in a psychiatric care setting.

RN responsibilities include ensuring the safety of each patient on the unit and monitoring symptoms and conditions.

RN will supervise assigned staff members to ensure proper care and compliance with standards.

RN will attend and participate in meetings as assigned.

RN is responsible for reviewing and noting prescriber orders accurately.

RN will administer medications and provide health and medication teaching to patients.

RN will conduct nursing assessments and update information such as vital signs and patient weights.

RN must maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records at all times.

RN is responsible for monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

RN must be dependable, collaborative, and committed to providing patient-centered mental health care.
