Job description

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Major Account Development Executive. If you have a passion for sales, a knack for building lasting relationships, and a desire to make a real impact, we want to hear from you.

As a Major Account Development Executive, you will be accountable for generating new sales in the large group market (50+), ASO group, and ancillary product lines; maintaining high persistency rates and providing top-notch service to our valued clients; providing timely and professional service to enrolled group and ancillary product subscribers; and suggesting insights to management on customer needs, competitive activity, and market conditions.

You will collaborate closely with our sales team, agents, brokers, and consultants to achieve retention goals. Additionally, you will work with various departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services, enhancing the overall customer experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong verbal and written communication skills; effective retention techniques and a thorough knowledge of our products and competitors; ability to conduct outside sales and provide continued service via telephone and on-site visits; proficiency in using consumer relationship management systems; understanding of large fully insured group and ASO group contracts, including benefit administration and legal requirements.

Minimum qualifications include : Bachelor's Degree (typically in Marketing or Sales) or commensurate experience; current license to sell health insurance in Wyoming (or ability to obtain within 90 days); valid driver's license; three months or more of work experience, typically in customer relations.

This is a full-time, entry-level position with moderate to high stress and defined performance goals. Automobile and overnight travel are required.
