Materials Data Manager - Governance

The IS AER HQ division of Eaton is currently seeking a Materials Data Manager - Governance. This position can be based at any of our U.S. Aerospace facilities or can be based remotely, as long as you live within a 50 mile radius of an Aerospace facility. This role will work closely with the Network Planners and Site SCM / Materials Managers to support continuous improvement initiatives, learning and help identify skills, knowledge or functional competencies and expertise, vital to the success of the materials strategy. The Materials Data Manager will create, train and enforce policies for effective data management across legacy Eaton sites, and integrate newer acquisitions, to align with the Eaton Business System. They will provide leadership for the implementation of the Aerospace Group Materials Strategy, Model Plant Policies and Materials management training to ensure proper implementation of standard material processes. In collaboration with the Network Planners and site materials teams, they will identify opportunities for site materials management improvements using the annual materials management assessment and support the implementation of those improvements through robust change management across the sites. The Materials Data Manager will deliver value to the business through enterprise data management and analysis. They will ensure the data collected meets the needs of the stakeholders and business leaders to achieve their analytics and data management requirements. They should enjoy performing day-to-day operational tasks, but also thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment that requires responding to ad-hoc requests quickly. Identify and set policies for key data elements required to facilitate accurate planning and decision making within key systems (i.e. Kinaxis & ERP systems) and across the wider supply chain. The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Manage the control process of the master data in our MRP systems (MFGPro, SAP, and Kinaxis sustainment), which is required to support a world-class materials organization for the Aerospace Group.

Develop and maintain data management systems using data from the existing MRP systems for the Global Aerospace Materials team, while supporting the creation of tools and reporting dashboards to help to give more visibility and controls of daily operations.

Drive adoption and effective usage of the Kinaxis advanced planning tool in support of the end-to-end process. Support network planning community with training and problem solving to deliver optimal results.

Generate key actionable insights ensuring the planning teams are able to deliver maximum business value.

Monitor compliance and adherence to standard process, ensuring input / output data is accurate and that the planning data is used to drive decision making and execution in the plants.

Through ERP Health Check reporting, or the equivalent in our newly acquired sites, this role will ensure MRP Data Compliance by monitoring and cleansing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization.

Set standards, rules and monitoring systems to govern the maintenance of Supply Chain materials, procurement and planning data, ensuring key parameters are sufficiently maintained to drive accurate planning results within critical systems including ERP systems and Kinaxis.

Create documentation, policies and training material concerning Data Governance to be used as Aerospace standards, and work with business stakeholders to ensure policies are adhered to consistently.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of five (5) years in data management / analysis experience in Materials or Supply Chain Management.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.

Master's in Business Administration from an accredited institution.

CPIM certification.

Experience with SAP, Kinaxis and / or MFGPro.

Extensive knowledge and experience of working with supply chain data, preferably within MFGPro and / or SAP S4, including Materials and Procurement data.

Good working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes including Procurement, Materials Planning, & Inventory Planning.

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making. Demonstrable value creation using analytics tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Serve as a collaborator and subject matter authority in the area of supplier and materials data management.
