Title : Assembler

Location : Pomona, CA

Shift : Mon-Fri | 6am to 2 : 30pm

Payrate : $20 / hr.

Job Summary

The Assembler I, under general supervision, is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and supporting manufacturing equipment and processes. This role includes performing assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks to ensure production efficiency and product quality in compliance with QSR and company standards.

Job Responsibilities

Perform equipment setup and adjustment for assembly, packaging, and preparation operations per approved documentation.

Execute line clearance, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping tasks.

Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products following written or verbal instructions.

Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment.

Complete and maintain documentation for manufactured products and equipment.

Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials according to safety procedures.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, OEE).

Support new equipment installation, validation, and process improvements.

Participate in root cause analysis and assist with implementing corrective actions.

Maintain compliance with QSR, FDA, and company quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, QC, and Management).

Exhibit professional conduct with internal and external partners, ensuring alignment with company values and policies.

Perform duties in compliance with established business procedures and safety standards.

Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support changing business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

0 3 years of related experience.

Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform routine troubleshooting.

Understanding of quality system environments.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations.

Basic understanding of manufacturing systems, including documentation, compliance, inventory control, and production scheduling.
