Controller
A growing technical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and finance operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
- Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, and process documentation
- Manage product costing, inventory valuation, and margin analysis
- Oversee billing, accounts receivable, cash management, and collections
- Develop financial dashboards and KPIs to support operational decision-making
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practicesExperience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and inventory managementProven budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experienceStrong analytical and communication skillsAerospace or Defense Manufacturing background requiredAbility to develop product costingExperience with annual budget preparation and variance analysisAbility to partner cross-functionally and lead finance operationsSalary & Benefits
