Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for Cloud Architect

3 days on-site in NYC Office.

This is a permanent FT career opportunity, VP - Level position with base salary range 140 -165K DOE, plus bonus and great benefits package.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Architecture and Governance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, governance, policies, and security best practices. They will play a crucial role in ensuring our Azure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE :

Responsibilities :

• Design robust Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Develop and enforce Azure cloud governance policies and practices, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and security requirements.
• Collaborate with partner teams such as Cloud Engineering, Data, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to understand business needs and deliver secure and effective Azure solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Azure cloud governance and security, recommending new approaches to enhance our cloud offerings.
• Support and oversee the migration of existing applications and infrastructure to Azure, focusing on governance and security aspects.

Qualifications :

EDUCATION :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
