Tax Staff - Public

Our client is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join their practice based in Saddle Brook, NJ. As a key contributor, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality tax preparation and compliance services to a variety of clients. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews and detailed analyses of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

• Prepare complex tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.

• Handle payroll and sales/use tax return preparation to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, showcasing a deep understanding of their business operations.

• Collaborate closely with Tax Partners to meet planning and compliance objectives.

• Stay informed of current tax laws and industry developments to maintain high standards of service.

• Manage multiple client accounts effectively, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.

• Document and review research findings related to specific tax issues to provide actionable insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or EA certification is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Advanced skills in accounting, tax preparation, and analysis.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and familiarity with IRS forms including 1065, 1120, and 1120S.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
