Job descriptionBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain roles Advanced Excel and strong ERP skills Excellent vendor management and communication skills Manufacturing industry experience preferred 2–5 years of manual buying experience (not just ERP order processing) $70,000–$75,000 annual salary 100 hours PTO first year 6 paid holidays Medical, Dental and Vision
We’re working with a well-established manufacturer in Beaverton, OR to identify their next Buyer. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented supply chain professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and is ready to help drive process improvements as the company prepares for a major ERP upgrade and SOP updates.
Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end purchasing for raw materials in a manual, high-volume setting
- Maintain direct vendor relationships and process purchase orders
- Utilize and help implement a new ERP system
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain teams on part numbers and Bills of Materials
- Physically receive materials and coordinate with the Materials Supervisor
- Drive process improvement and support audit / system upgrade projects
