Lead Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join their data engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and execution of complex data projects while mentoring mid-level engineers

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines and optimize data models

Manage BigQuery datasets and implement infrastructure as code for GCP resources

Required Qualifications

5+ years of production experience with Python and SQL

Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading complex data projects

Deep expertise in dbt for data modeling and transformation

Extensive experience with Apache Airflow for managing workflows

Proficiency with cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery
