Patient Demographics : Adult and mixed inpatient / ER populations
Patient Volume / Census : Approximately reads per shift
Phone Consults : As needed for coordination with on-site teams
Case Mix : PF, CT, and Ultrasound (emergent brain MRIs only)

Facility Type : Teaching Hospital, Level III Trauma Center
Closest Airport : Crater Lake Klamath Regional Airport
EMR System : Sectra PACS; Fluency VR
Specialty Backup Available : Interventional Radiologists on-site (ER-dedicated CT machine)
Support Staff Available : Residents and technologists
Reason for Coverage : Ongoing / long-term staffing need (continuity of care focus)
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline : 2 3 months (depending on license verifications)
Additional Requirements : Age 65+ providers must complete a physical / mental competency exam per hospital bylaws

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Diagnostic interpretation of CT, PF, and Ultrasound studies
Emergent brain MRI reads as needed
ED and inpatient imaging coverage
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses : Oregon medical license (client willing to license if not held)
Board : ABR Certified
DEA : Not required for tele-radiology coverage
Certifications : None specified
Experience : No minimum required (must provide previous 24 months of case logs)
Other Qualifications : Familiarity with Sectra PACS and Fluency VR systems preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide remote diagnostic imaging interpretation for ED and inpatient cases.
Deliver accurate, timely reads within 30-minute turnaround time for ER studies.
Collaborate with on-site radiologists, residents, and technologists.
Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and hospital staff.
Adhere to facility protocols, credentialing standards, and radiology best practices.
Support continuity of care and patient outcomes aligned with Sky Lakes Medical Center s standards.
