Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, ideal for someone passionate about event coordination, marketing, and building strong community relationships. You will play a vital role in organizing impactful events, managing online platforms, and enhancing brand awareness for our organization. This organization is looking for someone to help generate new ideas to cast a wider net and reach a larger audience for their marketing and event planning initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute both short-term and long-term event strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and establish partnerships with local sponsors to support event initiatives.
- Create engaging content and regularly update social media platforms, online calendars, and promotional materials.
- Deliver live presentations on social media platforms, effectively communicating event details and dealership information.
- Develop event budgets and objectives, ensuring all activities align with approved plans.
- Monitor and expand the audience for events through targeted promotion and outreach.
- Oversee all aspects of the event department, including sales, planning, marketing, and administrative functions.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Marketing Director to design and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and maintain clear and effective communication throughout all interactions.
- Analyze event data and performance to improve future strategies and outcomes.
Requirements :
At least two years of experience in event planning and marketing.Strong proficiency in social media management, content creation, and tools like Facebook Insights.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and InDesign.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.Proven ability to foster brand awareness and execute promotional campaigns.Experience with CRM systems and budget processes.Service-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
