Job Description

The Procurement and Purchasing Representative will administer, coordinate and monitor procurement activities required to maintain sufficient inventory levels for assigned products to support company-wide product availability requirements. Assigned products may include raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies. This employee will work on site at our Ballinger, Texas location.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain appropriate stocking levels for assigned products. Assist with inbound logistics including administration of freight rates, fuel surcharges, etc
• Monitor and complete coil release programs daily to ensure adequate raw materials are on hand for manufacturing
• Monitor reorder points and perform branch inventory replenishment through system program on a daily basis
• Respond to special requests from sales in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify and resolve issues associated with defective or unacceptable goods with internal business units, customers, suppliers and vendors
• Timely and accurate process completion
• Monitor and verify processes for errors
• Minimize outages
