Responsibilities of Staff Accountant :
Support the controller and accounting team with daily activities.Responsible for performing various accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.Prepare and post journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accountsAssist with monthly close and financial reportingReconcile and review balance sheet accountsSupport accounts payable / receivable and invoice processingReview and process expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policiesMonitor and analyze expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunitiesAssist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditorsHelp with payroll processing and reconcile payroll sub-ledgers as neededAnalyze financial results; recommend cost-saving or process improvementsDocument accounting policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legislative requirementsAvailability for after-hours work as needed for month end processingOther Duties as assignedQualifications of Staff Accountant :
BS in Accounting required and 2-4 year's experience.Manufacturing experience a plusAbility to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.NetSuite ERP experience a plusConcur expense management experience a plus#LI-GW1
