Boeing Converted Freighter Sales Director

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Boeing Converted Freighter Sales Director to join the Boeing Converted Freighter Sales Team with an extensive knowledge of Boeing airplanes and Boeing commercial customers. This role will be responsible for managing Boeing Converted Freighters sales campaigns and strategies for commercial customer accounts across all regions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position has a travel requirement of 50% of the time. Position responsibilities include :

  • Driving successful sales and campaign activities by integrating multiple aspects of the customers' needs.
  • Developing strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth.
  • Leading negotiations and finalizing commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers.
  • Developing customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external stakeholders to provide a competitive advantage and foster business growth.
  • Initiating and advancing customer relationships and working to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer.
  • Leading the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management while ensuring quality deal.
  • Balancing the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP).
  • Leveraging company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of multiple Boeing products and services, process and operations and resources.
  • Researching, reviewing, and analyzing information about competitors' products and services to develop a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of specific competitor activities and their impact on company strategy to improve our competitive position.
  • Providing guidance to more junior employees regarding capturing and documenting detailed customer knowledge.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and expanding network to address customer needs and keep lines of communication open.
  • Identifying future business opportunities and promoting the value of Boeing portfolio.

Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic qualifications (required skills / experience) include :

  • 7+ years of experience with customer engagement in sales or in support of sales to major carriers, leasing and / or service providers.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of freighter conversions or maintenance industries, customer operations, and deal structuring.
  • 7+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships (both External & Internal).
  • Strong business and financial acumen, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Preferred qualifications (desired skills / experience) include :

  • Technical knowledge of BGS products and services.
  • Understanding of internal Boeing processes.
  • Master's degree in Technical or Business field.

    Pay & Benefits : At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent. The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range : $129,200 - $174,800.
