Account Coordinator
The Account Coordinator serves as the main point of contact between Inkblot and its clients, managing project timelines, coordinating with designers, and ensuring all promotional materials meet university and ASUN standards. In this role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of a projectfrom initial intake to final deliverywhile supporting creative planning and strategic marketing efforts. This position is ideal for organized, detail-oriented students who enjoy communication, project management, and contributing to campus engagement through meaningful promotions.
Responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to weekly Project Meetings
- Attend and contribute to weekly staff meetings
- Act as the project manager for each project
- Meet with client to establish scope of project (when necessary)
- Use Project Management tool to post notes, questions, concerns, and comments
- Use timeline to establish deadline for project (work with Director when necessary)
- Create unique promotions for work orders and be able to abide by the timeline
- Use templates to make sure all the necessary info is on the Project Management tool
- Work closely with Content Manager to schedule postings and bookings for Photographers and Videographers
- Update the client with the status of their design if asked
- Notify Assistant Director and Director when items are approved to order
- Verify that the client has received printed materials and projects have been completed
- Ensure designers have time to design a proof and final copy of their work
- Work with Assistant Director whenever you need help
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss status of promotion
- Verify printed materials are received by your clients
- Always be thinking about how we can improve our marketing efforts
- Provide data after projects are finished and client record interactions
- Record mistakes and successes and build on them in the future
- Understand where modifying or re-using a design could save resources
- Work with Content Manager and Social Media Manager to develop campaign schedules
Required Qualifications
Candidate is an undergraduate student at the University of Nevada, RenoCandidate must demonstrate an acute understanding of on-campus marketingCandidate has an understanding of the ASUN, Inkblot, and client work environmentsCandidate must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookCandidate has a general understanding of the process and standards of designCandidate is able to develop a basic understanding of design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Candidate understands and is able to communicate Inkblot, ASUN, accessibility, and university policies and proceduresCandidate is able to prepare reports and proposals when necessaryCandidate can be flexible and play different roles when necessaryCandidate is able to work at least 5 hours in the office per weekPreferred Qualifications
Candidate has an interest in PR, Marketing, or similar fieldsCandidate is a Major in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related fieldCandidate has used a project management tool beforeSchedule
