Youth Opportunity is a nationally recognized leader in residential and behavioral health treatment for atrisk youth. Rockdale Youth Academy in Rockdale, Texas is a 65bed secure Youth Academy for males ages10 to17, offering traumainformed care across mental health, substance abuse, and sexoffender treatment needs. The center integrates clinical therapy, education (via Inspire Academy, including GED prep), restorative justice, therapeutic recreation, and life skills training.
Youth typically stay 6 to9months, engaging in individual, family, and group therapy; victimimpact awareness; prevocational preparation; and enrichment activities such as art, music, and recreation. Small group living units, Youth Advisory Boardguided incentive programs, and licensed dietitianmanaged nutrition support stabilization and reintegration planning.
Position Summary HR / Business Manager Job in Rockdale, TX
We are hiring a HR / Business Manager to oversee both business office functions and human resources at Brooksville Youth Academy. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational, financial, and HR skills who want to contribute to a mission-driven environment supporting youth success. You will manage accounting, payroll, compliance, staff recruitment, and reporting processes, while also supporting the Facility Administrator with daily operations.

Human Resource Duties

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferredTwo years experience in business office or HR functions preferredExperience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) PreferredStrong computer, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage time effectively and problem-solve in a fast-paced environmentOther Requirements
Physical Demands : Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods. Occasionally lift / move up to 15 lbs. Ability to navigate all facility departments. May require irregular hours and occasional transport of youth or staff. Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by law.Other : Must maintain a valid state drivers license.
