Join a dynamic and client-focused financial planning office as a Paraplanner / Associate Financial Advisor. This is a key role supporting the daily operations of an independent Ameriprise Financial private wealth advisory practice. You'll work closely with financial advisors to deliver high-quality financial planning, client service, and practice management support. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the financial services industry while maintaining high standards of ethics, professionalism, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Product Solutions (40%) Prepare financial planning recommendations and product solutions for advisor review. Create visual aids (charts, graphs, tables) for client meetings. Assess client risk tolerance, goals, and time frames to recommend suitable investment strategies. Run illustrations and hypotheticals; develop product deliverables. Execute trades and monitor portfolios for strategic rebalancing. Maintain relationships with product wholesalers. Client Care & Business Management (60%) Maintain client contact throughout the planning, meeting, and follow-up process; respond to inquiries within allowable scope. Review and update client data for meetings; attend and participate in client meetings as needed. Resolve client service issues and manage client records in accordance with retention policies. Coordinate projects, respond to ad hoc requests, and organize client seminars. Review and improve internal processes for efficiency and quality. Delegate tasks and provide feedback and training to support staff. Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial services or planning. Must have or be willing to obtain : Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. State life, accident, and health insurance licenses.
