Qualifications

New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Experience :

Minimum 2 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

5 years preferred

Must be able to perform all nuclear medicine imaging procedures

Must be able to inject radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a radiologist

Responsibilities

Independently operate the Nuclear Medicine Department

Perform full spectrum of nuclear medicine imaging

Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately under radiologist direction

Maintain compliance with all state and facility policies
