A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Every other weekend minimum required
• Patient ratios : Med Surg 6 : 1 (occasionally 7 : 1), ICU / Step Down 4 : 1
• Float to Emergency Department as needed
• ICU or Step Down / Progressive Care experience required
• At least 1 travel assignment prior required
• ICU experience preferred
• Required certifications : ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Work with 30-bed unit serving both Med Surg and ICU / Step Down patients
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Perform procedures including thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Day shift staffing : 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs
• Night shift staffing : 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs
• Must demonstrate outgoing personality and strong teamwork skills Facility : This healthcare facility is a newly opened, state-of-the-art 30-bed critical access hospital featuring three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays.
