Responsibilities
Inspect overhead and underground electrical distribution facilities.
Collect and document field data.
Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports.
Assist with storm damage assessments in and out of state.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and agencies.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
Education :
High school diploma required.
Associates Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience :
Entry-level candidates welcome.
1+ years of experience in
electric utilities, power distribution, or telecommunications
preferred.
Technical Skills :
National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)
knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and
engineering software
(e.g., GIS, CAD, or similar tools) is a plus.
Experience with
AutoCAD, GIS mapping software, or electrical design tools
preferred.
Other Requirements :
Valid drivers license.
Ability to travel overnight as needed.
