Control Systems Engineer

Our client is a world leading producer of Amorphous Metal Ribbon. Since their

company began in the 1970's, our client pioneered the development and production of amorphous metal, a unique alloy that exhibits a structure in which the metal atoms occur in a random pattern. The key to our client's proprietary manufacturing process is the rapid-solidification of molten alloy at a rate of approximately one million degrees Celsius per second.

Control Systems Engineer

Our client is currently looking to add a Control Systems Engineer to their busy

24 / 7 amorphous metal manufacturing plant.

Job Type : Full-time

Responsibilities :

• Committed to ensuring the safety of self and others through the following of all safety practices and procedures.
• Provides expertise and supervises process control programming function.
• Performs maintenance on existing systems as assigned such as software backups.
• Tests and performs validity checks on program logic.
• Prepares documentation of developed programs according to accepted standards.
• Participates in determining hardware and software requirements for continued effective operation.
• Develop new business proposals.
• Ability to write and execute Capital projects, working with contractors and maintenance to achieve desired results from a project standpoint as well as a productivity standpoint
• Panel design and layout, bill of materials, and wiring schematic capabilities are expected with this position.
• Develops computer programs to assist in troubleshooting and calibrating process automation hardware.
• Develop training modules to assist maintenance in troubleshooting process equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
