RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med / Surg Telemetry nursing

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, three times per week

Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills

Med / Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care to adults in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit

Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs

Administer medications, IVs, and prescribed treatments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions

Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
