Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)

Assignment Length : 8 weeks

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR)

Shift : 4x10 hour day shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Start Date : February 3, 2025

End Date : March 31, 2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state

At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nursing experience required)

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced surgical and clinical environment

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to provide high-quality clinical support

Maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after surgeries

Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition

Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures

Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and education
