Your Mission
As a Product Specialist, you will work across the organization to ensure seamless implementation, training, and support of designated product lines. You will serve as a technical resource for customers, partners, and internal teams, translating product information into practical solutions and providing expert guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
You will work closely with Development, Engineering, Commercial and Operational teams to optimize product performance and customer outcomes. Externally, you will serve as the subject matter expert and ambassador for te product line, available for sales support, demonstrations, customer training, troubleshooting, and representing the product line.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in US clinical and laboratory equipment with hands-on experience supporting products in US Hospital and Laboratory environments. Success in this role requires excellent technical communication, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to delivering superior customer support, helping us deliver products that Make People Safer, Healthier, and More Productive.
What You’ll Do – Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Knowledge, Development, and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain technical knowledge of all product features, specifications, and capabilities
- Provide recommendations for product improvements based on field experience and customer feedback
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and validate innovative capabilities that advance the product line or commercialize new product lines
- Drive execution of product development and / or change management projects
- Support product testing, validation, and field trials as needed
- Document lessons learned and technical insights for product enhancement initiatives
Product Support & Technical Expertise
Serve as primary technical resource for product-related questions, troubleshooting, and customer inquiriesOwn maintenance of existing & creation of new equipment operator’s manualsDevelop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting resourcesProvide field support, including remote assistance, on-site visits, and technical inquiriesSupport product installations, commissioning, and validation at customer sitesTroubleshoot product issues and coordinate with engineering team on technical solutionsTraining & Customer EducationConduct comprehensive training programs for customers, partners, and end-users on product features and proper usageDevelop training materials, including videos, webinars, and hands-on demonstrationsProvide ongoing training to sales teams and account managers on product capabilitiesSupport certification programs and partner training initiativesSales & Market Support
Participate in joint sales calls, product demonstrations, and customer presentationsProvide technical expertise to address customer concerns and requirements during the sales processSupport trade shows, industry conferences, and promotional eventsCollaborate with marketing teams on product messaging and positioningBuild and maintain relationships with key accounts and decision-makersMarket Analysis & Customer Feedback
Gather Voice of Customer (VoC) insights through customer interviews, site visits, and feedback sessionsAnalyze customer feedback and field performance data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunitiesCommunicate customer insights to product management and engineering teamsAssess hospital lab environments and evaluate customer business requirementsTrack competitive landscape and provide feedback on industry trendsWhat You’ll Bring – Desired Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of medical device design and quality management systemsKnowledge of regulatory requirements including FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and other relevant international and domestic standardsProficiency in technical documentation and troubleshooting methodologiesExperience with data analysis tools and product support platformsTechnical background in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fieldExperience in technical writing and creating training materialsCore Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve technical issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearlyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with customers and team membersCustomer-focused mindset with commitment to delivering exceptional supportSelf-directed with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesDesired Education and Experience :
Associate’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field3+ years of technical support, field service, or product support experience in medical devices or healthcare technologyHands-on experience with FDA-regulated products and medical device environmentsExpertise in laboratory workflows, equipment operation, and understanding of key decision-makers in US healthcare marketsCombination of education and experience will be consideredAlternate education and experience considered based on individual candidateComputer Skills :
Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWork Environment :
Office and manufacturing environmentTravel Requirements
