Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available at a K-12 school in Lewiston, ME, for the current school year on a contract basis. This onsite role offers a dynamic environment working directly with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language therapy services.
Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy to students, conducting comprehensive assessments and testing, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and writing thorough IEPs tailored to each students needs. The role requires collaboration with educators and families to support students communication development and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience : Valid Maine Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and IEP development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
